Local Democrats are organizing a Danielpalooza fundraiser for State Sen. Daniel Biss, D-Evanston, and State Rep. Litesa Wallace, D-Rockford, and it will be held from
3 PM to midnight Oct. 21 at Mandalay Lounge, 200 N. Church St.
Sen. Biss and Rep. Wallace are seeking the Democratic nomination to run for governor and lieutenant governor of Illinois. Daniel Biss and Litesa Wallace will join the event at 6 p.m.
The event is free.
While free, the Biss campaign encourages support of the Biss-Wallace ticket.
The fundraiser will feature live performances by local musical groups and various motivational and speeches by local politicians.
